PLAYER SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Now accepting scholarship applications for the Fall 2024 season.

At Huntsville Baseball League (HBL), we are committed to providing a program that allows every child to play baseball and NOT be excluded due to financial hardship.

Our mission is to offer an affordable program for all of our players and families while maintaining the financial health and sustainability of the league.  A limited number of full or partial scholarships are available. 

Scholarships are based on the league’s annual budget.  Since scholarship funds are limited, applicants may be asked to provide additional information to prove the player is eligible for scholarship. 

In addition, families applying for a scholarship acknowledge that the league is run by volunteers and there is an expectation that parents/guardians of scholarship recipients will give back to HBL by volunteering when possible (such as volunteering one night or two in concessions, or helping out on a committee).

Applications will not be reviewed until after the registration deadline has passed.  Approved applications will be notified within three working days and will be provided with a one-time discount code to use to register their player.  Scholarship approval does NOT register your player with the league.  The parent/guardian is still responsible for registering their player using their personal discount code prior to the registration deadline.

ALL applications, applicant information, and applicant status will be kept completely confidential and will only be reviewed by  HBL Executive Committee Members.

Information WILL NOT and SHALL NOT be shared with anyone, including but not limited to, commissioners, coaches, players, parents or other members.
